About Our Staff & Practice

Eldad Vered M.D.

Dr. Eldad Vered moved from Israel to the U.S and completed a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Rice University in 1980. He pursued a medical degree at the University of Texas and completed his residency in OB/GYN in 1988 at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. A board certified OB/GYN, Dr. Vered moved to Tooele in 2008 and worked three years for Mountain West Medical Center. He established Healthcare for Women in June 2011 to continue to provide Tooele County with quality healthcare services. He and his wife have six children between them. Dr. Vered enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah Johnson NP-C

Sarah moved to Utah in 1986 and has considered Tooele her home ever since. She was employed as a registered nurse at the former Tooele Valley Hospital as nurse manager of the OB, Med-Serg, and Emergency Room. She also worked in the ICU and then as a flight nurse for 4 years with AirMed. She graduated from BYU in 2000 with a Master's degree as a Family Nurse practitioner. Sarah worked in Tooele for 8 years, spent the next 4 years in Magna at Exodus Healthcare. She was happy to return to Tooele in November 2012 to start working at HCFW with Dr. Vered. Sarah's favorite pasttime is horseback riding especially up in the Canyons, and helping with all the farming activities. She loves family time spent with her husband, four children and 2 grandchildren.

Hey dr. vered :) thank you so much for being the best doctor ive ever had, and thats saying a lot ive had dozens of dr through out my life with all my surgeries and things. You made Charlie and I feel so comfortable and even though you werent able to be there for the csection, We know how much you cared about us and you were so kind to us and I will always appreciate you!! Thank you so much for being so real and funny too :) Oh i forgot to ask you at my 6 week this week is it ok for me to start doing sit ups and working out now???
